Mile Hill Farms

Mile Hill Farms provides top quality beef, garden produce, and also value added products. We follow organic principles in all our farming projects. All practices on the farm are focused on being self-sufficient and maintaining living soil quality, animal happiness and health. Our farm is located near Thunder Bay, Ontario.In 2012 we have our vegetables available, starting at the end of May:Direct sales from the farmTrue North Community Coop (Algoma St)Superior Seasons online, local farmer grocery store.Thunder Bay Country Market Saturday morning (8am-1pm) and Wednesday evenings from 4pm to 7pm starting June 6th.Caribou Restaruant, and the Bean Fiend coffee shop.We are very happy to have teamed up with these other groups and businesses to make local organic produce more easily available. It is great to see our vegetables, and meat enjoyed in so many homes, select restaurants, and grocers in town.Vegetables are available at the end of May depending on the weather. We have seasonal sausages, beef patties, and select beef cuts available at the True North Community Coop.Storage vegetable orders are online (see the link to the order form on the top right hand corner of this page). Beef for 2012 is sold out. The meat and vegetables from ordered this year will be ready starting in August 2012, through October 2012.
