ColdWeather Farms

I am the fifth generation to work this small family farm. My family before me grew apples, fished the Gaspereau River and had beef cattle. After many years of the farm not being work it is now being turned back into a small farm to provide for the local market. I am into my third year with a raspberry u-pick and the blackberry u-pick is starting this season. Apples still play a part with many of the old varieties and old trees are being reused by grafting. There is a green house on the farm with plans to being planting this spring. Down the road I want to start free range chickens, turkeys and organic beef. The old farm house is now a bed and breakfast called Gaspereau Valley B and B.
