Ash Berry Farm

Hi! We are a small berry farm located in Royston near Courtenay in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island. We have Upick and prepicked strawberries and strawberry fed pork. We use sustainable, natural and organic methods on our farm. Wondering how we came up with ASH Berry Farm name?Well our 3 boy's names are August, Sawyer, and Holden and no, we did not plan it. We just realized it when we put their initials down one day and when we moved here we thought it made a nice name.Strawberries are known to have a high pesticide load BUT NOT OURS!!!!! Our berries are hand weeded uncertified organic. We spend a lot of money on certified organic fungicides, fertilizer, (diesel), water and labor.Our production costs make it necessary to raise our prices.Today, July 4: Berry picking was good today with loads going off the fields. Berry picking will continue to be good to excellent tomorrow with loads of large berries to be picked!We now also have farm fresh chickens available! Our happy Chickens are $4.25lb
