We also want to preserve and protect the environment for our future generations which is why we are now certified under the Local Food Plus (LFP) program to identify our farm as a certified local sustainable food source as well as Certified Organic for the majority of our fruits and vegetables.
Our 15,330 m2 (165,000 sq.ft.) state-of-the-art greenhouses as well as our owned and leased production land offer ideal growing conditions for a variety of fruits and vegetables. Our packing facility is second to none with a 4,650 m2 (50,000 sq.ft.) warehouse, 8 coolers, shipping and receiving area, loading docks and a processing plant and equipment with room for further expansion. With this infrastructure we plan to make a positive impact on local food security for Vancouver Island.
It is our goal to provide fresh flowers and produce directly from the farm to the community and reconnect the consumer with their local food source.
We feel it is important to know where your food comes from and how it is grown, which is why we have launched a variety of programs to market our products in an effort to lessen the distance your food travels from the field to your plate. This is conducive to a healthy farm and community!
