If you saw yesterday's post you will know what this picture means. It didn't freeze and the sunflowers have have survived their second frost advisory of the fall.
The forecast looks great thru the weekend, but given Alberta's unpredictable weather we will only be selling tickets 2 or 3 days in advance.

Please everyone, can you cross your fingers that tonight's forecasted low of -1 does not happen.. it doesn't take long with temps below zero to finish off the blooms. This would include our giants which are just starting, a long with our third and final patch which is our largest planting of the season.
Yes this does mean if we get a frost tonight, today may be the last day of our season. However, if the sunflowers survive we could have another week or two of blooms..
I should know by 9:00 tomorrow morning. If you had tickets purchased and the Sunflowers are frozen tomorrow we will definitely refund your tickets, let's just hope it doesn't come to that.
