We have changed our name recently to the Big'r Apple Farm and had to update our web site. Our location hasn't changed.
Strawberry season is finished for another year. The farm will be closed for the summer. We will reopen for apple picking on Labour Day Weekend.
I would like to thank everyone that came to the farm and helped to make our strawberry harvest a success.
Our apple trees broke dormancy too early this spring due to the unusual warm weather in March. The cold weather that followed severely damaged the flower buds and as a result, most of the flowers did not open. The ones that did open were killed by a later frost. The bad news is that there will be little to no apples this fall. We will have an update on this situation later in the summer.
Have a great summer! See you in the fall.
