Farmers are busy with the fall harvest, farm animals prepare for winter, pumpkins ripen in the fields and the trees display their fall colours as the changing seasons roll slowly across the land.Puck's Farm features a variety of domesticated animals for the children to meet and pet. In addition to cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep and fowl, the farm is also home to some unusual critters such as emus and a llama who are recent additions to Ontario farms.Miniature horses, donkeys, work horses and ponies show children the diversity of breeds in the equine family. The gaggle of geese are sure to give the children a loud welcome while the ducks have their own fun in the pond.The children's favourite is almost always the farm cat who will be stretched out in the sun for another day of endless petting.We'll try and answer as many of your questions as we can, but it's really about observation, exploration and discovery. This is a great hands-on opportunity for children to see and interact with our animal friends.
