Homestead Orchards

Homestead Orchards is owned and operated by the Pegg family, and has been for several generations. What began as mixed farming and later dairy farming, has now evolved into apples and strawberries. It is important to us that we have a close connection with both our products and our customers.Our stewardship of the land has a high priority as we take pride in using environmentally friendly practices such as composting, encouraging the use of reusable resources, water conservation and intergrated pest managemnt which results in minimal spraying.All of our baked goods and other products are made from scratch on site in our licenced kitchen. We use our own or local ingredients where possible.We now have lots of tasty treats available from our bakery including pies, cheesecakes, cookies and our infamous apple brownies!After a busy Thanksgiving, we are having an early end to our season this year. We are now closed during the week, but will be open on Saturday October 13 from 10 - 3 for a last opportunity to purchase apples and cider (first come first serve). Thanks for a wonderful (though short) season. We hope to see you again next year!
