Boreal Edge Farm CSA

Boreal Edge Farm is a family-run natural method vegetable farm in the Whitefish River Valley near Thunder Bay. We grow over 40 different varieties of fresh produce every year. We specialize in offering salad greens and garnishes thoughout our 20 week Country Market season. We also run an 80 Share Community Supported Agriculture project on our farm.We are a community supported agriculture farm. This means that we try to not only support Boreal Edge Farm, but other local farmers as well, to create a sustainable local farming community.Members purchase a share of the farm's vegetables in early spring, and then receive their share of the available vegetables over a 12 week period.Our share's include Bread and Eggs, however we are potentially offering this as a separate option for 2010. Brass Fed Beef is sold by the box. (20lb. box for $100) Includes 50% ground and 50% Top end cuts/roasts.
