The Farmer's Pantry

The Farmer's Pantry all began in the fall of 1999 under a small tent on Highway 26 between Meaford and Thornbury. It's a family run project that includes help and support from the entire clan plus a few neighbours! In our humble beginnings, we were a small apple stand with a couple of animals romping around to play with. As we progressed into our third season, we opened up a second stand as a Pick Your Own on one of our farms, where people coul enjoy the experience of picking their own apples. Two years later, we moved this stand to our home farm, where is still resides today. A visit to the Farmer's Pantry is an experience that the whole family will enjoy. Acre upon acre of apple orchards offering over 15 varieties of local apples with many pick your own options including raspberries and cherries in season. We're open from July 1st through to Thanksgiving weekend and host many events including our Raspberry Festival, Adventure Day, Candy Apple Clinics and Family Day.Many of our events include food and wine pairings and the kids will delight in the many activities we offer including our petting farm where they can interact with the animals. Our Pony Rides, mini putt, rope maze and cedar maze are some other activities offered that will keep the kids busy while you shop for in our Farm Market offering fresh fruits and vegetables, prepared meals to go and locally sourced gifts.Season: First Weekend in July through October 31stHours: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily
